This addendum should be read in conjunction with the attached Installation and Servicing
Instructions. For Australia and New Zealand, information in this addendum takes
precedence over information provided in the Installation and Servicing Instructions. In
particular, AU/NZ contact telephone numbers and AU/NZ standards.
General InformatIon
Please read these instructions carefully before starting installation.
This boiler must be installed by an authorized person only.
Failure to install this boiler correctly could lead to prosecution.
If you are in any doubt contact the Robert Bosch technical
hotline on: 1300 30 70 37 AU or 0800 54 33 52 NZ
Please leave these Instructions, completed Commissioning
Record Log Book and User Manual with the customer after
installing the boiler. The Commissioning Record Log Book is
part of the installation manual.
3 This appliance is only certified for use with Natural Gas in
AU/NZ
3 This appliance can only be connected to the electrical supply
by a qualified electrician
3 Prior to the installation of this appliance, isolate the appliance
and all other BUS connections from the 240V supply.
3 For sealed systems an expansion vessel must be fitted.
3 This appliance is not to be used as a pool heater.
Safety Precautions
If you smell gas:
3 Turn off the eCV (emergency control valve) at the meter
3 Do not turn electrical switches on or off
3 Do not strike matches or smoke
3 Put out naked flames
3 Open doors and windows
3 Keep people away from the affected area
Combustion and corrosive materials
3 Do not store or use combustible materials (paper, thinners,
paints, etc. ) inside or within the vicinity of the boiler
3 Chemically aggressive substances can corrode the boiler and
invalidate any warranty.

fittings and modifications
Fitting the boiler and any controls may only be carried out by
an authorized person.
Flue systems must not be modified in any way other than as
described in the fitting instructions. Any misuse or unauthorized
modifications to the boiler, flue or associated components
and systems could invalidate the warranty. The manufacturer
accepts no liability arising from any such actions, excluding
statutory rights.
Servicing
Advise the user to have the system serviced annually by an
authorized person. Approved spares must be used to help
maintain the economy, safety and reliability of the boiler.
Important
The service engineer must complete the service record at the
rear of this manual after each service
