Registering Basic Camera Settings

You can set the basic settings for major functions such as the shooting
mode, AF mode, metering mode, and drive mode and register them in
the camera.
This is convenient when you want to instantly switch to frequently-used
shooting settings.

Applying Basic Settings
In step 2, select [Apply]. The camera settings will switch to the
registered settings.

Select [Regist/apply basic settings].

Under the [7] tab, select [Regist/
apply basic settings], then press
<0>.
Select [Register].

Turn the <5> dial to select
[Register], then press <0>.
Select a function.

Turn the <5> dial to select the
function, then press <0>.
You can set the shooting mode, white
balance, drive mode, metering mode,
AF mode, AF point, color space,
image size, and Picture Style (9).
Set the function as desired.

Turn the <5> dial to select the
desired setting, then press <0>.
Exit the setting.

To exit the setting and return to the
screen in step 2, press the <M>
button.
