Specify whether you search for messages
that are on your BlackBerry smartphone
or for messages that are in an email
application on your computer.
Specify one or more contacts or email
addresses that your smartphone should
search for in messages. To widen the
search, you can also specify part of a
name.
Change the type of address field that your
smartphone should search in for the
name or email address.
Specify one or more words that your
smartphone should search for in the
subject of messages.
Specify one or more words that your
smartphone should search for in the body
of messages.
Specify whether your smartphone
searches encrypted messages, plain text
messages and digitally signed messages.
If your smartphone is associated with
more than one email address, change the
