    [ 2nd ] [ OFF ]. Battery replacement SR-281 is powered by two alkaline batteries (GP76A or LR44). SR-282 is powered two AA-size ( UM-3 ) batteries. If the display becomes dim and difficult to read, the batteries should be replaced as soon as possible.
