charging the battery

IMPORTANT: Fully charge this
battery before charging a product
for the first time.
1. P lug the mini-USB end of the
cable into the DC-IN jack.
2. P lug the USB end of the cable
into computer or adapter
(see below).
3. T he DC-IN STATUS LED will
illuminate blue while battery is
charging and revert to green
when charging is complete.
Note: To ensure greatest battery life,
charge the battery to its full capacity
at least once every six months.

1. Connect the battery to
the product you would like
to charge via the DC-OUT
connector (see below).
2. D uring charging, the DC-OUT
STATUS LED will illuminate blue.
When charging is complete, it
will shut off. Disconnect your
product at that time.
checking battery status
The DC-OUT STATUS LEDs will
illuminate according to the charge
capacity left in the battery:
• Full capacity — All 3
• 30% to 70% capacity — 2
• 0% to 30% capacity — 1
Recharge the battery when only
one light is illuminated.
