Notice for CD/DVD copying:
The printable area of a CD/DVD is illustrated as
follows.
Note:
If you are printing in the following areas of the disc, the disc or
the CD/DVD tray may get strained with ink.

Copying 2 Originals on One Sheet
1. Load your paper (& page 8).
2. Place the first original on the document table
(& "Placing Originals on the Document Table"
on page 11).
3. Press the r [Copy] mode button.

4. Use the u or d button to select a menu item and
use the l or r button to select a setting item. Use
the Copies + or - buttons to set the number of
copies.
Select Color for color copies or B&W for
black-and-white copies.
Select Text, Graphics, or Photo.
Select 2-up Copy to copy two originals per sheet
(& "Selecting a copy layout" on page 13).
Note:
If you choose 2-up Copy as the layout setting, but you do not
select two originals, a blank space is left on the paper.
5. Press OK.
6. Press the x [Print Settings] button and change
the settings (& "Selecting special print settings"
on page 13). Then press OK to apply the new
settings.
7. Press the x Start button. The first original is
scanned and the product starts copying.
8. When the product finishes scanning the first
original, place the second original on the
document table.
9. Press the x Start button again. The second
original is scanned, and the copy is printed.
If you need to stop copying, press the
y Stop/Clear button.
