Setting the Time Zone, Date and Time
i_/_ Set the date and time.
® Press the <4_> key to select the
date or time number.
® Press <_)> so <Q> is displayed.
® Press the <AT> key to set the
number, then press <_)>. (Returns
to <ES>.)
Set the daylight saving time.
® Set it if necessary.
® Press the <_> key to select [-:_;_].
® Press <_)> so <Q> is displayed.
® Press the <AT> key to select [-:÷:-],
then press <0>.
® When the daylight saving time is set
to [-:÷:-],the time set in step 3 will
advance by 1 hour. If [-:_;_] i s set, the
daylight saving time will be canceled
and the time will go back by 1 hour.
£_ Exit the setting.
® Press the <_> key to select [OK],
then press <0>.
b* The date/time and daylight saving
time will be set and the menu will
reappear.
I_ if yot_ store the camera without the battery or if the camera's battery
becomes exhausted, the time zone and date/time may be reset. If this
happens, set the time zone and date/time again.
The datettime that was set will start from when you press < (LE_ > in step 5.
After changing the time zone. check that the correct dateltime has been set.
You can also set the daylight saving time with [_2: Time zone].
The [_2: Time zone] and [_'2: Date/Time] daylight saving time settings
are linked.
