 Device Status Lights
The small indicator lights on the computer are known as LEDs or light-emitting diodes. They serve as device status lights. The various LED indicator lights
specify the following:
Turns on when you turn on the computer and blinks when the computer is in a power management mode.
Turns on when the computer reads or writes data.
CAUTION:
Turns solid blue or blinks amber to indicate battery charge status.
Turns on when wireless networking is enabled.
Turns on when a card with Bluetooth® wireless technology is enabled.
 Battery Status Lights
If the computer is connected to an electrical outlet, the
Solid blue — The battery is charging.

Flashing blue — The battery is almost fully charged.
l
Off — The battery is adequately charged or external power is not available to charge the battery.
l
If the computer is running on a battery, the
Off — The battery is adequately charged, or the computer is turned off.
l
Flashing orange — The battery charge is low.
l
Solid orange — The battery charge is critically low.

 Keyboard Status Lights
The blue lights located above the keyboard indicate the following:
