- Page 3 Professional installation is recommended. The Audiovox FM Direct Adapter may be tie-wrapped to existing wire harnesses or other under-dash structures. The adapter should be constrained in some way to help prevent it from causing rattles and other noise, or chafing to vehicle wiring.
- Page 4 Turning on the Audiovox FM Direct Adapter With the ignition on, the FM Direct Adapter is always on in a standby condition. When you turn on your XM radio receiver, the adapter will automatically switch the vehicle FM signal input from your FM antenna to the XM Audio signal.
