Remove the Air Conditioner From the Case
[] l,_emove 1he 2 screws on each side of the ca_.
Keep these for later use.
[]Slide the air conditioner fi'om the case by
gripping the base pan handle and pulling
forward while bracing the case.
Front of air conditioner,
Frontof air conditioner.
Remove packing cardboard and tape ifpre_nt.
Prepare the Case
[] Remove the backing from the top mounting
rail seal strip and atlach it to the bottom of the
top mounting Fail.
] Install the top mounting rail with 6 type A
screws fix)m the outside of the case.
Topmounting r ail
Ob_
Bottommountingrail
] Insert the flames for the accordion panels into
the top and bottom mounting iails. Attach Ihe
accordion panels to the side of the case using
8 type A screws.
Prepare the Window
_ Cut the window sash _al to the window width
and stick the adhesive side to the [×)ttom of
the sash.
