21. In the Ready to Install window, verify the SQL Server 2008 R2 for Small Business features to be installed
and click Install.
22. When the SQL Server 2008 R2 for Small Business installation is completed, click Close to exit.
Installing device drivers for Windows operating systems
After you finish installing a Windows operating system, you might need to download and install required
device drivers to ensure that the hardware devices in your server work correctly.
To identify hardware devices that are not working correctly, open Device Manager by doing the following:
1. Click Start.
2. Right-click My Computer.
3. Click Manage and select Device Manager in the left pane.
In Device Manager, hardware devices that are not working correctly are indicated by a yellow exclamation
mark and are usually listed under Other Devices.
To download and install a device driver, do the following:
1. Go to http://www.lenovo.com/drivers. Then, follow the instructions on the Web page to download the
installation file for the desired device driver to a USB storage device.
2. Copy the installation file to the server where the device driver is to be installed, and then double-click
the installation file.
3. Click Next in the Welcome window.
4. In the License Agreement window, select I accept the agreement, and then click Next to continue.
5. Specify the directory where you want to save the installation file, and then click Next.
6. Click Install to begin the installation process.
7. When you are prompted that the installation has completed, click Finish.
To configure the network, click Start ➙ Control Panel ➙ Network Connections, and then select New
Connection Wizard to set up the network connection.
To configure network protocols, right-click Local Area Connection in the Network connections window, and
then click Properties.
To join a domain, click Start ➙ Control Panel ➙ System, click the Computer Name tab, and then click
Change.
Note: For the Windows 7 operating systems, click Start ➙ Control Panel ➙ System and Security ➙
System, and then click Change settings in the Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings
area to join a domain.
