Setting up your phone

When you switch on HTC First for the first time, you'll be asked to set it up.

Walk through the on-device setup to choose your Internet connection, sign in to your

Google

account, and more.

Some features that need to connect to the Internet such as location-based services

and auto-sync of your online accounts may incur extra data fees. To avoid incurring

these fees, disable these features under Settings.

After initial setup, make sure to log into your Facebook

experience on HTC First.

1. Tap Log into Facebook.

2. Sign into your Facebook account.

Or to create a new account, tap Sign Up for Facebook.

Make sure you're always using the best version of Facebook by allowing automatic

updates.

1. Open the Play Store app.

2. Search for the Facebook app.

3. Tap Allow automatic updating to make sure your app stays current.
