Battery life
Approx. 300 frames (alkaline batteries of the type supplied with the camera), 700 frames (lithium bat-
teries), or 500 frames (Ni-MH batteries), based on CIPA (Camera and Imaging Products Association)
standard; measured at 23 °C (73 °F) with the monitor on, pictures recorded to an SD memory card,
the camera zoomed from widest angle to maximum zoom and back once every 30 s, the fl ash fi red at
full power with every other shot, and the camera turned off and then on again every 10 shots. Note
that the number of shots that can be taken varies with battery make and charge state, temperature,
and shooting conditions.
