USB Tethering and Portable Hotspot

You can use your phone as a wireless modem or wireless
access point for PCs or other devices and share your
phone's mobile network connection.
To share your phone's mobile network via USB:
1. Using a PC data cable, connect the multifunction jack
on your phone to a PC.
2. In Idle mode, select
networks  Tethering and portable hotspot.
3. Select USB tethering to activate the USB tethering
feature.
Your phone shares its mobile network connection with your
PC. To stop sharing the network connection, clear the check
box next to USB tethering.

differ depending on the PC's operating system.
To share your phone's mobile network via WLAN:
1. In Idle mode, select
networks  Tethering and portable hotspot.
2. Select Mobile AP to activate the WLAN hotspot.
3. Select Mobile AP settings  Configure mobile AP
and set the name and security as needed.
4. Your phone searches for and connects to a WLAN.
5. From another device, locate your phone's name in the
available connection list and connect to the network.
Your phone shares the mobile network connection on
another device.
