    Before going through the flowchart steps, verify the following:  Ask customer to enter the password if a password is registered.  Verify with the customer that Toshiba Windows is installed on the hard disk. Non- Windows operating systems can cause the computer to malfunction.

    This section describes how to determine if the system board is malfunctioning or not. Start with Procedure 1 and continue with the other procedures as instructed.     For the backup, refer to the User’s Manual. Procedure 1 Partition Check Insert the Toshiba Free-DOS system disk and start the computer. Perform the following checks: Input C: and press Enter.     HV cable. Their cables may be disconnected from system board or FL inverter board. Disassemble the computer following the steps described in Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures.
