    Before going through the flowchart steps, verify the following:  Ask customer to enter the password if a password is registered.  Verify with the customer that Toshiba Windows is installed on the hard disk. Non- Windows operating systems can cause the computer to malfunction.

    This section describes how to determine if the system board is malfunctioning or not. Start with Procedure 1 and continue with the other procedures as instructed.
