Instructions
WARNING
Always turn off the amplifier or
receiver when connecting speakers or
any other components to the system.
NOTE
T
his manual assumes the installer
possesses skill in the proper use of
hand and power tools, knowledge of
local building and fire codes, and a
familiarity with the environment
behind the wall or ceiling in which the
speakers will be installed.
Tools You'll Need
1. A utility knife, jig saw, Rotozip, or
other tool for cutting the required
hole in the mounting surface.
2. A #2 Phillips screwdriver.

3. A drill with
" (1.5mm) bit for pilot

holes.
4. A wire cutter or stripper for
preparing the speaker wires.
5. A pencil.
Preparation for Installation
1. Using the supplied 4 screws, attach
the flexible port assembly to the
subwoofer. See diagram below.
2. After deciding on the location of
the HSi S6W2, use the supplied
template to check for the fit of the
subwoofer and location of the port
wall plate.

ADVERTENCIA

Herramientas necesarias
1. Una navaja multiusos, una sierra
caladora u otra herramienta para
cortar el agujero adecuado en la
superficie de montaje.
2. Un destornillador Phillips o de cruz
número 2.
3. Un taladro con broca de
(1,5mm) para orificios piloto.
4. Un lápiz.
Preparación para la
instalación
1. Con los 4 tornillos suministrados,
acople el conjunto de puerto
flexible al subwoofer. Vea el
diagrama de abajo.
2. Después de decidir la ubicación del
HSi S6W2, utilice la plantilla
suministrada para verificar el encaje
del subwoofer y la ubicación de la
placa de pared del puerto.

PLANNING TEMPLATE
Use this template to plan the location of the subwoofer and port trim plate.
Consult the instruction manual for more information on placement.
Note that the hole required for installation of the subwoofer cabinet will be larger
than the rectangle on this template. After the subwoofer cabinet is installed,
use this template as a rough guide for locating the trim plate.
Use the separate small round template (part #137-001545) to mark the precise
hole size for the trim plate before cutting.

sait utiliser les outils manuels et
électriques nécessaires à l'installation,

vigueur sur la construction et
l'incendie, et qu'il sait exactement
quels éléments sont situés derrière les
murs ou les plafonds sur lesquels les
enceintes seront fixées.
Outils nécessaires
1. Un couteau à lame rétractable, une
scie sauteuse ou tout autre outil
capable de découper l'orifice

Préparation pour
l'installation
1. À l'aide des 4 vis fournies, fixez
l'ensemble flexible à orifice au
caisson de basse. Voir schéma ci-
dessous.
2. Après avoir l'emplacement du
caisson HSi S6W2, utilisez le gabarit
fourni pour vérifier l'ajustement du
caisson de basse et l'emplacement
de la plaque murale à orifice.
