MMC/SD mode

You can play MP3 files on an MMC/SD
(Multi-Media Card / Secure Digital) us-
ing the Woodstock DAB53. You can
write data to the MMC/SDs that you
want to use with the Woodstock DAB53
with the help of a standard MMC/SD
read/write device and your PC.
Note:
Please note that when you prepare
the MMC/SD, you must observe
the directory structure rules as de-
scribed in the "MP3 mode" chapter.
In order to optimise access to MMCs/
SDs, you should store no more than 20
directories and a maximum of 200 files
on an MMC/SD.

Inserting/removing an MMC/SD

The MMC/SD compartment is to the left
below the CD compartment. To insert/
remove an MMC/SD, you first have to
remove the flip-release panel. To do so,
please refer to the "Removable control
panel" chapter.
Inserting an MMC/SD
Remove the flip-release panel.
Insert the MMC/SD with its printed
side uppermost and its contacts
first into the MMC/SD compartment
until you feel the MMC/SD click into
place.
Attach the flip-release panel again.
MMC/SD MODE
Removing an MMC/SD
Remove the flip-release panel.
Carefully push the MMC/SD into
the unit until you feel a slight resist-
ance.
The MMC/SD is now unlocked.
Carefully pull the MMC/SD out of
the compartment.
Attach the flip-release panel again.

Switching to MMC/SD mode

Keep pressing the SRC button @
until "MMC" appears in the display.
Playback begins with the first track that
the device detects.

Selecting a directory

To avoid overly long access times, you
should use a maximum of 20 directo-
ries.
To move up or down to another directo-
ry,
keep pressing the
: until the number of the required
directory appears in the display af-
ter "D".

Selecting tracks

To move up or down to another track in
the current directory,
