About the smartphone password
There are several types of password protection that you can use on your BlackBerry smartphone.
Smartphone password
You can create a smartphone password to help protect your smartphone from unauthorized access and use, and you can
set your smartphone to lock after a certain period of inactivity. You must enter your smartphone password to unlock your
smartphone. If you forget your password, it can't be recovered. For security reasons, if you exceed the number of allowed

BlackBerry ID
After you create a BlackBerry ID, you can use a single email address and password to log in to any BlackBerry product or
service that supports BlackBerry ID. If you exceed the number of allowed attempts to log in using BlackBerry ID, wait for
the security lockout to end before you try to log in again. To reset your BlackBerry ID password, visit

Password Keeper is designed to encrypt your password information, and decrypt it when you enter the Password Keeper
