August USB Freeview TV Receiver (DVB-T201)
Thank you for purchasing our August product, please follow the instructions below to
install the device.
1. Before installing the driver, you need to know what your computer's operating
system is. This device supports Windows 2000, XP SP2, XP SP3, and Vista. To
find out which operating system you are running, please select and right click "My
Computer" on your computer desktop, click "Properties" from the drop down list, a
window will pop out showing the system information.
2. Select and install the appropriate driver from the software CD supplied.
3. Install the BlazeDTV media player. You will find a new icon "BlazeDTV "on your
computer desktop after the installation.
4. Connect the USB device with a rooftop aerial, then plug it into a USB port of your
computer. Double click the "BlazeDTV" icon on the computer desktop, follow the
instructions to register, the serial number can be found on the envelope for the
software CD. If you are using Windows Vista, please right click the "BlazeDTV" icon,
choose "Run as administrator", and follow the instruction to register. The operation
panel of the BlazeDTV will show and an autoscan window will pop out, follow the
instructions to start the scan. Once the scan has finished, all the channels found
will be saved by the "BlazeDTV". Click "EPG" icon on the operation panel, all the
TV and radio programs found will show.
5. For further instructions on how to watch or record TV programs using the BlazeDTV
media player, please read the "BlazeDTV Manual" which can be found in the
software CD supplied.
