3. Wear a dust mask when collecting dry or dusty materi-
al.
4. Place your left hand on the front handle and your right
hand on the rear handle. Operate switch using fingers
of right hand. Switch unit on to begin vacuuming.
5. Always work by moving in from the edge of a pile of
debris. Keep the vacuum nozzle 50-100mm above the
material being collected to allow proper air flow. (Fig. 6)
6. Swing unit from side to side to vacuum debris.
WARNING: Machine must be switched off
before mode change slide is adjusted.

COLLECTION BAG EMPTYING
To empty collection bag, undo zipper and shake.
For a more thorough clean turn bag inside out and shake.
Re-install bag as outlined on page 3. If bag becomes wet
immediately remove from machine, dry thoroughly before
re-installing.
CAUTION: To avoid clogging vacuum tube
DO NOT place end of tube into a pile of
debris. To clear blockage switch off machine,
unplug cord and clear blockage.
MAINTENANCE
1.
Place switch in "OFF" position and unplug the power
supply before the appliance is serviced, cleaned or
maintenance is performed.
2.
Keep air intake clean and air vents free of debris to
avoid overheating the motor.
3.
Clean with a damp sponge and mild soap. Do not
squirt with water, hose with water or other liquids.
4.
No lubrication is necessary as the motor is equipped
with lifetime lubricated bearings.
5.
If the tool does not operate, turn switch to "OFF" posi-
tion and disconnect from power supply first, then from
tool. Check power supply for blown fuses or tripped
circuit breakers. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.
There are no owner serviceable parts inside.
SERVICING DOUBLE-INSULATED APPLIANCE
In this double-insulated appliance, two systems of insula-
tion are provided instead of grounding. No grounding
means is provided on a double-insulated appliance, nor
should a means for grounding be added to the appliance.
There are no owner serviceable parts insidel. A double-
insulated appliance is marked with the words, "DOUBLE
INSULATION" or "DOUBLE INSULATED". The symbol
(square within a square) may also be marked on the appli-
ance.
Any service must only be carried out by a qualified tech-
nician at an authorized service centre.
• WET OR MOIST MATERIAL
Moist or freshly cut (green) material may collect in the
vacuum/blower inlets of your machine.
Avoid picking up this type of material or material which
has moist soil mixed with it. Soil can compact within the
inlets and fan housing causing a reduction in perform-
ance.
To avoid the possibility of clogging alternate between dry
and moist material to keep inlets and tubes clear.
STORAGE
1.
Clean unit before storing.
• Free debris from air intake.
• Clean plastic parts with a mild soap and sponge
dampened with warm water.
• Do not spray blower with water.
2.
Store indoors in a dry area out of reach of children.
3.
Do not leave extension cord lying on the ground once
you have finished using the appliance. It can become
a tripping hazard.
