DRIVE CLUTCH LEVER

1. Pull the drive clutch lever upwards and hold it against the handle bar to propell
the mower forward. The speed is rated at 1 m/s. (Fig. 9A)
2. To stop the mowers forward movement simply release the drive clutch lever.
(Fig. 9B)
NOTE: Always ensure that the drive clutch lever is released before starting the
engine.
When manouvering the mower ensure that the drive clutch is released.

HINTS FOR EASY STARTING
Stand the mower on a paved drive or path where the blade is clear of the grass. If
you must start on the lawn, move to an already cut area and/or raise the cutting
height. Do not start the mower on a gravel surface.
Start a warm engine with the control in the START position.

1. Move the engine control to STOP.
2. Release the drive clutch lever.
