Using VPXImport

Customizing the Main Window Information

The Model Information and Control Information drop-down options in the main
window query the database and display the associated information in the main
window as shown in Figure 9. With the Model Information options, you can list
specific information about equipment types, manufacturers, and model names. The
Control Information options allow you to query the database for control methods,
IR filenames, and system calls (SYC).
The model and control query options allow you to display specific information in
the main window. If you are adding a new model and want to see how similar
model types are configured in the database, you just choose one or more query
options that relate to the model type, and query the database. To query the
database for model- and control-specific information, follow these steps.

Determine what model information you want to see in the main window
listing.
