Check and indicator lights
What to do if . . .
. . . the "Drying" indicator
light flashes
. . . the "Anti-crease/Finish
light flashes.
. . . the "Clean out airways" in-
dicator light comes on
. . . the "Clean out airways" in-
dicator light is still on after
the fluff filter has been
cleaned
. . . the programme is interrupted
and the "Anti-crease/Finish"
light comes on
Cause . . .
The programme selector was
moved after the beginning of
the programme, but the
programme continues to run
correctly.
There could be a fault.
Surrounding temperatures
below freezing are affecting the
machine.
Important: Switch the dryer off with the "l-On/0-Off" button.
The fluff filter in the door is
blocked.
The vent ducting is blocked.
The ventilation outlet (eg
window or wall vent) is blocked.
Ventilation to and from the dryer
is insufficient (eg in a small
room).
The ducting is very long.
If there is no laundry in the drum when the programme is started, the
electronics will register this and stop the programme. The
programme will also be interrupted if the laundry placed in the drum
is already dry.
Problem solving guide
Remedy . . .
Turn the programme selector
back to its original position and
the light will go out.
Turn the machine off and on
again.
Select a programme and
press "START".
Install the appliance in a
warmer room.
If the light continues to flash, there
could be a technical fault.
Contact the Miele Service
Department.
Clean the fluff filter when the
programme has finished. (See
section "Cleaning and care".)
Check the vent ducting and
ventilation outlet.
Open a door or window while
drying for increased air flow.
See section "Installation -
venting" on calculating length
and diameter. See also notes in
"How to dry correctly".
If very long ducting is used then
programme times will be longer
and energy consumption higher.
