Setup Mode

The Setup Mode enables you to select your camcorder language and frequency.
You can also reset your camcorder to the default factory settings.
Language Menu
You can select your camcorder's language display by selecting the desired language from the
Language menu.
To access the Language menu:
1. Press the MODE button to open the Mode menu options.
2. Press the UP / DOWN button to highlight Setup.
3. Press the OK / Shutter button to select and enter the Setup menu options.
4. Press the UP / DOWN button to highlight Language.
5. Press the OK / Shutter button to select and enter the Language menu options.
The following Language options appear:
English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Italian, Russian, Turkish
6. Press the UP / DOWN button to highlight the desired Language option.
7. Press the OK / Shutter button to select and save the highlighted option.
Note: At any time you can press the MODE button to exit the Setup menus and return to
the previous screen.
Frequency Menu
The options in the Frequency menu represent the frequency of the electrical current in
fluorescent lighting sources in your locale. If your camcorder is set to a frequency that does not
match your country's electric current, you may see waves on the images taken by your camera.
To access the Frequency menu:
1. Press the MODE button to open the Mode menu options.
2. Press the UP / DOWN button to highlight Setup.
3. Press the OK / Shutter button to select and enter the Setup menu options.
4. Press the UP / DOWN button to highlight Frequency.
