- Page 3 Placement and Play Area Surfacing Before installing the Lift & Lock Swing, select and prepare a play area. Placement Install the swing at least one meter (three feet) from any structure or obstruction such as a tree trunk, fence, garage, house, overhanging branches, laundry lines or electrical lines.
- Page 4 Installation of the Lift & Lock Swing The Lift & Lock Swing can be attached to a swing set, pole or tree branch. IMPORTANT! When installing the Lift & Lock Swing, be sure it cannot swing to within one meter (three feet) of any other object in front of, behind, or to the side of it.
- Page 5 Installation of the Lift & Lock Swing Pole or Tree Branch Installation Pole S-Hook INPORTANT! Before installing, check the strength and stability of the pole or tree branch. Place the Lift & Lock Swing at least one meter (three feet) from a tree trunk or any other structure.

Securing Your Child Waist Belt Crotch Belt • Pull the release lever toward you and raise the restraint bar. • Unbuckle the waist belts from the crotch belt. • Place your child in the swing. • Pull the crotch belt up between your child’s legs and fasten both waist belts to the crotch belt. - Page 7 Removing Your Child • The release lever is located on the underside of the swing seat. Squeeze the release lever toward the front edge of the swing and lift the restraint bar. Slide the restraint bar up. • Squeeze tabs on the release buckles to unfasten the crotch belt from the waist belt.
