OPERATING ON HOUSEHOLD CURRENT Your unit may be operated from any 120-volt 60 hertz wall outlet with an AC adapt_ (optional accessory). Plug the cord from the adaptor into the "DC 6V" jack the left side of the unit. Insert the adaptor plug into the wall outlet.
OPERATION OPERATING FM STEREO RADIO Connect the stereo headphone supplied to HEADPHONES JACK (_). Install the batteries, or connect an AC power adaptor as described previously. Set the TAPE (RADIO OFF)-RADIO switch (_) to the RADIO position, and set the AM/FM switch to the FM position.
OPERATING AM RADIO Set the TAPE (RADIO OFF) -- RADIO switch (_)tothe RADIO position anda, set AM/FM switch to the AM position. Tune in a desired station with the TUNING KNOB (_). Adjust the Left (_ and Right (_) VOLUME controls.

PLAYING PRERECORDED TAPE Insert a prerecorded tape cassette as stated on the preceding page. Connect the stereo headphones supplied to PHONES jack (_ for stereo playback. Press the PLAY button (_). Adjust the Left and Right VOLUME controls for the listening level you choose.
