FOR CONNECTING
THE GAS SUPPLY
O Flat- or straight-blade
screwdriver
(may be
needed for cord strain relief)
OFlexible stainless steel or plastic-coated
brass
connecting
tube (if allowed
by building code)
OOpen-end
wrenches for flexible tube and
connector
OAdjustable
pliers (to adjust leveling legs)
OPipe wrench for holding dryer gas inlet while
attaching
adapter
elbow
OAdjustable
wrenches
(21for tightening
connections

FOR YOUR SAFETY:
AWARNING
Before beginning the installation,
turn off the circuit
breaker(s) or remove the dryer's circuit fuse(s) at the
electrical
box. Be sure the dryer cord is unplugged
from the wall.
Turn the dryer's gas shutoff valve in the supply line
to the OFF position.
Shutoff

Disconnect
and discard old flexible gas connector
and ducting material.
