    To maintain optimum performance, proper operation and service are essential. Construction of Tamping Rammer The Mikasa MT-70H is equipped with an air cooled, two cycle gasoline engine. Transmission of the power takes place by increasing the engine speed to engage the centrifugal clutch.

    16. Spark Plug – Provides spark to the ignition system, excess fuel is present in the carburetor, or crankcase. L1. A Returned Material Authorization must be approved by Multiquip prior to shipment. A copy of the Authorization must replace with engine manufactures recommended type accompany the shipment to the designated Warehouse.

    MT-70H — OPERATION Inspection This section is intended to assist the operator with the initial start-up of the MT-70H Tamping Rammer. It extremely important 1. Check all nuts, bolts fasteners for tightness. Retighten as neces- that this section be read carefully before attempting to operate sary.

    MT-70H — OPERATION 2. Close the choke lever Figure 3 and move the throttle lever to the "Full Open" position. Turning the choke lever 90 degrees clockwise closes the choke . In cold weather, start the unit with choke fully closed. In warm weather or when the engine is warm, the unit can be started with choke halfway or completely open.
