PREPARATION CAUTION! Turn on the Power Take care to prevent infants from accidentally swallowing batteries. Turn on the circuit breaker. When not using the remote control unit for an extended period, remove the batteries to avoid possible leakage and Load Batteries (R03/LR03/AAA damage to the unit. -

SLEEP TIMER The indoor unit’s OPERATION indicator light (red) will be on. The air conditioner will start operating. ADJUSTING THE DIRECTION OF AIR CIRCULATION Instructions relating to heating (*) are applicable only to “HEAT & COOL MODEL” (Reverse Cycle). Vertical (up-down) direction of airflow is adjusted by pressing the remote control unit’s AIR FLOW DIRECTION VERTICAL SET button. CLEANING AND CARE Before cleaning the air conditioner, be sure to turn it off and turn off the electrical breaker. CAUTION! Be sure the intake grille is installed securely. When removing and replacing the air filters, be sure not to touch the heat exchanger, as per- sonal injury may result. -

In the event of a malfunction (burning smell, etc.), immediately stop operation, turn off the elec- WARNING! trical breaker, and consult authorized service personnel.
