equipment. ChanneLs can be changedusingthe tel,evision, the VCR,or the cable box, with advantagesto each.

USING THE VCR AS THE TUNER hasthe advantage of simpl,ifying the recording process. If the VCRis tuned to chan-

USING THE CABLE BOX (if you haveone)to changethestations sometimes hasan advantage, too,especial,l,y
if your
cabl,e provider requires youto usetheir cabl.e boxto descrambl,e

The source key (TV/VCRSource) on the remote,switchesbetween Video input and Antenna/Cabl,einput. The
Channel,/Timedisplaywil,l,read "Video" in pl,aceof a channel,number if A/V inputs are sel,ectedas the picture source.
Antenna/Cabl,e Input: This setting a!U, owsyou to changecable or antenna channelsand to view videocassettes on chan-
nel 3 (or 4) in mono sound.
Video Input: This setting al,l,owsstereo pl,aybackof videocassettes. The tel,evision cannotchangechannels in the Video
mode, but the VCR can.
