Important safeguards for you and your new product
Yourproducthas been manufactured and tested with your safety in mind. However,improper usecan result in potential
electrical shockor fire hazards.To avoid defeating the safeguards that have been built into your new product, pleaseread
and observethe following safety points when installing and usingyour new product, and savethem for future reference.

1. Read (nstructions

beforethe productis operated.

3. Retain
Instructions
The safety and operating instructions shouldbe retained
for future reference.
4.Heed Warnings
ALlwarningson the product and in the operating instruc-
tions should be adheredto.
5. Cleaning
Unplugthis productfrom the walt outlet before cleaning.
Do not use liquid cleanersor aerosolcleaners.Use a damp
cloth for cleaning.
6. Water and Moisture
Do not use this productnear water - for example,near a
bath tub, wash bowl, kitchen sink, or laundrytub, in a
wet basement,or near a swimmingpool
7.Accessories
Do not placethis producton an unstablecart, stand, tri-
pod, bracket, or table. The productmay fall, causingseri-
ous injury to a child or adult, and seriousdamageto the
product, Useonly with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket,or
table recommended by the manufacturer,or sold with the
product. Any mountingof the productshouldfollow the
manufectureKs instructions,and shoulduse a mounting
accessory recommended by the manufacturer.
8. Transporting Product
A productand cart combinationshould be movedwith
care. Quickstops, excessive force, and uneven surfaces
may causethe productand cart combinationto overturn.

Slots and openingsin the cabinet are providedfor ventila-
tion and to ensurereliable operation of the product and to
protect it from overheating,and these openingsmust not
be blockedor covered.The openingsshouldnever be
blockedby placingthe producton a bed, sofa, rag, or
other similar surface.This productshouldnot be placedin
a built-in installation suchas a bookcaseor rack unless
properventilation is providedor the manufacturer's
instructionshave been adheredto.
11. Power Sources
This productshouldbe operated only from the type of
power sourceindicated on the maddng Label. If you are
not sure of the type of powersupplyto your home,con-
sult your productdealer or local power company.For prod-
ucts intended to operatefrom battery power, or other
sources,refer to the operating instructions.
12. Line-Cord
Polarization
Thisproductis equippedwith a polarizedalternating-cur-
rent line plug (a plug having one blade wider than the
other). This plug will fit into the poweroutlet only one
way. Thisis a safety feature. If you are unable to insert
the plug fully into the outlet, try reversingthe plug. Tf
the plug shouldstill fail to fit, contact your electricianto
replaceyour obsoleteoutlet. Do not defeat the safety pur-
pose of the polarizedplug.
13. Power-Cord Protection
Power-supply cordsshouldbe routed so that they are not
Likelyto be walkedon or pinchedby items placedupon or
against them, paying particular attention to cordsat
plugs,conveniencereceptacles,and the point where they
exit from the product.
