SECTION 9: TROUBLE-SHOOTING

Engine fails to start

Blade control handle disengaged

Spark plug wire disconnected

Fuel tank empty, or stale fuel

Faulty spark plug

Vent in gas cap plugged

Water or dirt in fuel system

Connect wire to spark plug.

Fill up tank with fresh gasoline.

Clean fuel line.

Clean, adjust gap, or replace.

Wait a few minutes to restart. Do not prime.

Clean fuel line, fill tank with fresh gasoline.

Clear vent.

Drain fuel tank. Refill with fresh fuel.
