OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
TO SET PARKING BRAKE
Depress CLUTCH/BRAKE PEDAL. Pull PARKING
BRAKE LEVER "UP" while releasing pedal. See
Figure 9.

PARKING BRAKE.
TO ROLL MACHINE
1. Push ROLL RELEASE ROD over and down to roll
machine. See Figure 10.
2. Lift ROLL RELEASE ROD up and pull toward L.H.
side to engage hydro unit.

TO ADJUST CUTTING HEIGHT
The cutting height can be changed to any one of six
positions by raising or lowering the Cutter Deck Attach-
ment with the IMPLEMENT LIFT LEVER as shown in
Figure 12.

TO RAISE DEFLECTOR
During transport or for clearance throught gates, it may
become necessary to raise the DISCHARGE DEFLECT-
OR. Reinstall the wingnut on the stud when the DEFLECT-
OR is raised, so it will not be lost. Be sure the lower the
DEFLECTOR and clamp it down securely with the wingnut
before mowing. See Figure 11.

To suit mowing conditions, experiment by increasing
engine speed and/or decreasing driving speed until
smoothest cut is obtained without placing engine
under a heavy strain.
