  • Page 5 Connect Your ANTENNA, CABLE, CABLE BOX OR VCR Connect the cable from your cable system or off-air antenna to the cable in-jack on the back of the TV, as shown on the left. TV (Back Panel) Front Panel Jacks Use the jacks on the front panel of your TV to connect components to your TV.
  • Page 6 Plug in the TV Plug the end of the power cord into the wall outlet. Match the wide blade of the plug with the wide slot in the outlet. Insert the plug completely into the outlet. Put Batteries in the Remote Remove the battery compartment cover on the remote.

For example, if you only want your child to watch programs that have a TV-G rating and lower (in other words, you want the child to watch TV-G, TV-Y7, and TV-Y), then you need to block out other programming with higher ratings.
