Troubleshooting
There is no power

Make sure the radio is plugged in correctly.

Check to make sure the unit is not in Standby
mode by pressing the Standby button.
There is no sound
1
Check the volume level by turning the volume
knob.
NOTE: You can not adjust the volume level once you
begin recording. Make sure the volume is set
at the desired level before you begin recording.
Turntable will not work
1
Make sure the unit is set to Phono mode by
pressing the Function button.

Make sure the protective needle cover is
removed.

Make sure the chrome Turntable Suspension
Screw is screwed all the way down.

Check the cassette player to make sure a
cassette is not playing.
CD does not play
1
Check to make sure CD is inserted correctly
(label side facing up).

Check that the surface of the CD is clean
3
Make sure function switch is set to CD.

Make sure the CD is not blank.
Will not record
1
Make sure you are using a CD-R or CD-RW CD.

Check that the CD is blank.
Turntable has low volume
1
Remove and reinstall the stylus.
