  • Page 6 OVEN VENT Oven Vent Location For models equipped with ceramic cooktops, the oven vent is located under the left rear side of the control panel. When the oven is on, warm air is released through the vent. This venting isnecessary for proper air circulation in the oven and good baking results.
  • Page 7 About the Ceramic Glass Cooktop The ceramic cooktop has radiant surface elements located below the surface of the glass. The design of the ceramic cooktop outlines the area of the surface element underneath. Make sure the diameter of the pan matches the diameter of the element outline on the cooktop.
  • Page 8 To Operate Single Radiant Surface Elements Place correctly sized cookware on the radiant surface element. Push in and turn the surface control knob in either direction to the desired setting. Start most cooking operations on a higher setting and then turn to a lower setting to finish cooking.
  • Page 9 To Operate Dual Radiant Surface Elements (if equipped) Symbols on the backguard are used to indicate which coil of the Dual Radiant element will heat. The • symbol indicates the inner coil only. The (_) symbol indicates both inner and outer coils will heat. You may switch from either coil setting at any time during cooking.
