Careand Cleaningof the Washer
WashBasket: L eave dm lid open after washing to
allow moisture to evaporate. If you want to clean the
basket use a clean soft cloth dampened _ith liquid
detergent, then rinse. (Do not use harsh or _'itty
cleaners.)
Fill Hoses: Hoses connecting washer to fmlcet should
be replaced evepy 5 years.
Lint Filter: The lint filter is located under the agitator.
It is self cleaning and requires no maintenance.
Exterior: h mnediately wipe offany spills. Wipe ,a_d_
damp clmh. T_y not to hit surface wkh sharp objects.
Moving and Storage:Ask the service technician to
remove water
from drain pump and hoses. Do
not
store the washer where it xdll be exposed m the
weather. In the United States call the GE Answer
Center_ 800.626.2000 for inforlnation on how to
keep the tub stationapy when moving the washer.

LongVacations: Be sure water supply is shut off at
