Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the SHARP Electronic Dictionary, model PW-E300.
The PW-E300 contains data based on the following dictionaries (see page 5):
• Oxford Dictionary of English
• New Oxford Thesaurus of English
After reading this manual, store it in a convenient location for future reference.
Software included is English only.

• The specification of this product and its accessories, as well as information

CAUTION
• Do not carry the PW-E300 in the back pocket of slacks or trousers.
• Do not apply excessive physical pressure on the LCD panel because the
glass material may break.
• Do not drop the PW-E300 or apply excessive force to it. Bending the unit
unduly can damage it.
• Do not subject the PW-E300 to extreme temperatures. Do not expose the
unit to an extremely humid or dusty environment.
• Do not apply extreme force when pressing the keys.
• Sharp or hard objects can scratch and damage the unit. Make sure it is
adequately protected when carried with other objects.
• Since the unit is not waterproof, do not use it or store it where fluids can
splash onto it. Raindrops, water spray, juice, coffee, steam, perspiration, etc.
will also cause malfunction.
• Clean only with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents.
• Use only a SHARP approved service facility.
