INSTALL SEAT
Adjustseat before tighteningadjustment
knob.
1. Remove adjustmentknoband flat
washer securingseat to cardboard
packingand set aside for assemblyof
seat totractor.
2. Pivot seat upwardand remove from
the cardboardpacking.Remove the
cardboardpacking and discard.
3. Place seat on seat pan so head of
shoulderbolt is positionedover large
slottedhole in pan.
"4. Push down on seat to engage
shoulderboltin slot and pull seat
towardsrear of tractor.
5, Pivotseat and pan forward and
assemble adjustmentknob and flat
washer loosely.Do not tighten.
6. Lower seat intooperatingpositionand
sit in seat.
7. Slide seat until a comfortableposition
is reached whichallowsyou to press
clutch/brake pedal all the way down.
8. Get off seat withoutmovingits
adjusted position.
8. Raise seat and tightenadjustment
knob securely.

tractoroffthe skid. Followthe appropriate
instruction below to removethe tractor
from the skid.
TO ROLLTRACTOR OFF SKID (See
Operation section for location and
function of controls)
1. Press lift lever plungerand raise
attachmentlift leverto its highest
position.
2, Release parkingbrake by depressing
clutch/t>rakepedal.
3. Place gearshiftlever in neutral(N)
position.
4. Roll tractorforward off skid.
5. Remove banding holdingdeflector
shield up againsttractor.

Beforestarting read,
understandand follow all nstructions in
the Operationsectionof thismanual. Be
sure tractoris in a well-ventilated area.
Be sure the area in frontof tractoris clear
of otherpeople and objects.
1. Be sure all the above assembly steps
have been completed.
2. Check engine oil level and fill fuel
tank with gasoline.
3, Sit on seat in operatingposition,
depressclutch/brakepedal and set
the parkingbrake.
4. Place gear shift lever in neutral(N)
position.
5. Press liftlever plungerand raise
attachmentlift lever to its highest
position,
6. Start the engine.After engine has
started,movethrottlecontrolto idle
position.
7. Depress clutch/brakepedal intofull
"BRAKE' positionand hold. Move
gearshiftlever to 1st gear.
8. Slowly release clutch/brakepedal and
slowlydrivetractoroffskid.
9. Apply brake to stop tractor,set parking
brake and place gearshiftlever in
neutral position.
10.Turn ignitionkey to =OFF"position.
