to operatorabuse or negligence. To
receive full value from the warranty,
operatormustmaintainmower as
instructedin this manual.
Some adjustmentswill need to be made
periodicallyto properly maintainyour unit.
All adjustmentsin the Service and
Adjustments section of this manualshould
be checked at least once each season.
• Once a year, replacethe sparkplug,
clean or replace air filterelement and
check blade for wear. A new sparkplug
and clean/new air filter element assures
properair-fuel mixtureand helps your
engine run better and last longer.
• Followthe maintenanceschedule in
this manual.
BEFORE EACH USE
1. Check engine oil level,

Do not oil or grease
plastic wheel bearings, viscous lubri-
cants will attract dust and dirt that will
shorten the life of the self-lubricating
bearings, if you feel they must be
lubricated, use only a dry, powdered
graphite type lubricant sparingly.
