ASSEMBLY
• Liflthe blade guard and placethe dp fence against
the sew bladeand lockthe dp fence in place. This
will insurethat the ripfence remainssquarewhile
installing the mountingbars.
• Slide mountingbare into fronttrack on dp fence
and move them to the center of the fence.
Positionshims so that the mar edges are flush
with the rear edge of the fence and the slots line
up with the two holes in each mountingbar.
SI Postition the two guide block assemblies so that
the rear edges are flush with the rear edge of the
fence and the two slots line up with the slots in
the shims.
Assemble 1/4 in, flat wasbars onto each knob
bolt and screw knob bolts into holes on mounting
KNOB BOLT
bars as shown in Figure 5.

• Slide the head of one of the 1/4 x 3/4 in. boltsinto
the mar track on the guide fence and the other
intothe front track.
SI Feed boltsthrough holes in post,Place a 1/4 in.
fiat washer and lock washer on each boltand
secure with 1/4 in. hex nuts using an adjustable
wrench. See Figure 6.

Loosenthe knob on the guard/dustcover by
turningthe knob counterclockwise. L oosen the
knobenough so that the post slips easily through
the hole in the rear of the guard/dust cover,
• Positionguard/dustcover so that itis over the
throatof the muter table and approximately3-1/4
in. from the table surface. See F/gum 7.
• Secure guard/dustcover by turningthe tension
knob clockwise,Do not oved:ightan,
Note: The top opening of the Guard/Dust Cover
functionsas an ako(illimy dust port and will fit dust
collectiondevices with a 2 in. diameter hose.

INSTALL

SI Unplug the muter.

,_k WARNING: Unplugthe routerto avoid pos-
sibleinjury.
SI Place your muter upside down on a workbech.
SI Removethe subbasescrewsand the subbase
fromyour muter. Note: The subheseis mounted
permanentJy on some mutere and shouldnot be
removed.
• Selectthe screwsneededfor yourparticular muter.
For consumerreuters,usethe 114o20 screws.For
commercial routere,use the 5/16-18 screws.
• Positionmuter upside down under the muter
extension table. The muter label shouldbe facing
the frontof the table.
