Search Dialog Box

Use the Search Dialog box to locate specific events. The Search Dialog box is shown in

Searching for Fabric Data
To locate specific events, messages, or time ranges within the fabric:
1. Select File > Fabric Manager Log.
The Fabric Manager Log window appears.
2. Select the Search button at the bottom of the window.
The Search Dialog box appears.
3. Enter a message to search the fabric for (specifying Case or Whole Word, if desired).
Select a severity from the Severity drop-down menu.

Displays messages regarding events occurring within the fabric,
such as switch removal and discovery.
Select to launch the Search Dialog box and search for particular
data, such as specific messages, severities, modules, and time
ranges. The Search Dialog box is shown in
4-14.
Select to choose which aspects you want to have shown in the FM
Log. This keeps the log from getting crowded with unwanted
information. The Filter Dialog box is shown in
4-15.
Select to close the window.
