Troubleshooting
Guide
If a problem
occurs
with the camera,
first refer to this Troubleshooting
Guide.
If this Troubleshooting
Guide
does
not resolve
the problem,
contact
your dealer
or nearest
Canon
Service
Center.
The
battery
pack
does
not
recharge,
¢_ If the battery's
remaining
capacity
(p.338)
is 94% or higher, the battery
will not be recharged.
_
Do not recharge any battery pack other than genuine Canon Battery Pack LP-E6.
The charger!s
lamp blinks
at high speed:
¢_ If there is a problem with the battery charger or battery pack or if
communication
with the battery pack (non-Canon
battery packs) is not
possible, the protective circuit will terminate the charging and the orange
lamp will blink quickly at a regular interval. If there is a problem with the
battery charger or battery pack, unplug the charger's
power plug from the
power outlet. Detach and reattach the battery pack to the charger. Wait 2
to 3 minutes, then reconnect
the power plug to the power outlet. If the
problem persists,
contact your dealer or nearest Canon Service Center.
The Charger's
lamp does not
blink:
¢_ If the internal temperature
of the battery pack attached to the charger
is
high, the charger will not charge the battery for safety reasons
(lamp off).
During the charging,
if the battery's
temperature
becomes
high for any
reason, the charging will stop automatically
(lamp blinks). When the
battery temperature
goes down, the charging will resume automatically.
The
camera doesnot operate evenwhenthe
power switch is set to <
ON
>.
_ The battery
is not properly
installed in the camera
(p.30).
¢_ Make sure the battery
compartment
cover is closed
(p.30).
¢_ Make sure the card slot cover is closed
(p.31).
¢_ Recharge
the battery
(p.28).
