When   in   the   VINYL   or   Touch   Rewind   mode,   this   BRAKE   dial   determines   the   deceleration   speed   until   play   stops  
when   t he   P LAY/PAUSE   b utton   i s   t ouched.  
c.  
When   t he   B RAKE   d ial   i s   r otated   t o   M IN,   p lay   s tops   q uickly;   w hen   t he   d ial   i s   r otated   t o   M AX,   p lay   s tops   m ore   s lowly  
before   c oming   t o   a   c omplete   s top.  
 
Start   D ial  
a.  
When  in  the  VINYL  mode,  this  START  dial  determines  the  acceleration  speed  until  full  playback  speed  is  reached  
when   t he   j og   w heel   i s   s pun   b ackward.  
b.  
When  in  the  VINYL  or  Touch  Rewind  mode,  this  START  dial  determines  the  acceleration  speed  until  full  playback  
speed   i s   r eached   w hen   t he   P LAY/PAUSE   b utton   i s   p ressed.

When   t he   S TART   d ial   i s   r otated   t o   M IN,   p lay   s tarts   q uickly;   w hen   t he   d ial   i s   r otated   t o   M AX,   p lay   s tarts   m ore   s lowly

Tempo   R ange   B utton:   P ress   t he   b utton   t o   c hoose   a ny   p itch   p ercentage   o f   6 %,   1 0%,   1 6%,   a nd   1 00%.  
With   t his   b utton   y ou   c an   a lso   s witch   P itch   S lider   o n/off,   b y   p ressing   i t   f or   a t   l east   1   s ec.

KEY  Lock:  This   b utton   a ctivates   t he   K EY   L OCK   f unction.   T his   f unction   a llows   y ou   t o   u se   t he   P ITCH   S LIDER   t o   s peed   u p   o r  
slow   d own   p layback   s peed   w ithout   a ltering   t he   t onal   p itch   o f   t he   t rack.

Toggle   Button   (Wheel   Mode):   Each   press   the   TOGGLE   button   to   select   the   Wheel   Mode   of   Pitch   Bend/VINYL/Touch  
Rewind.  
a.  
Pitch  Bend  -­‐  When  wheel  mode  is  set  to  Pitch  Bend,  scratch  mode  is  exit,  JOG  WHEEL  can  be  used  to  pitch  bend  
and   f rame   s earch.  
b.  
VINYL   -­‐   When   wheel   mode   is   set   to   VINYL,   use   the   JOG   WHEEL   to   activate   the   scratch   effect   by   touching   the  
surface   o f   j og   w heel.  
c.  
Touch   R ewind.  
i)  
In   P layback   m ode  
While  in  play  mode  and  when  touch  rewind  mode  is  active,  the  JOG  WHEEL  can  be  used  to  return  the  unit  to  last  IN  
point.   S imply   t ouch   t he   J OG   W HEEL   a nd   u nit   w ill   i mmediately   r eturn   t o   t he   l ast   s et   C UE   p oint   ( BANK   L ED   i s   n ot   b linking)  
or   B ANK   i n   p oint   ( LED   i s   b linking)   a nd   p layback   w ithout   m usic   i nterruption.  
ii)  
In   C UE   m ode  
While  in  cue  mode  and  when  touch  rewind  mode  is  active,  tapping  on  the  JOG  WHEEL  can  be  used  to  start  playback.  
The   u nit   w ill   c ontinue   t o   p layback   u ntil   t he   J OG   W HEEL   i s   r eleased.   O nce   t he   J OG   W HEEL   i s   r eleased   t he   u nit   w ill   r eturn  
to   t he   l ast   I N   p oint.

Pitch   Slider:  
This  slider  is  used  to  adjust  the  playback  pitch  percentage.  The  slider  is  a  set  adjustment  and  will  remain  
set   u ntil   t he   p itch   s lider   i s   m oved   o r   t he   p itch   f unction   h as   b een   t urned   o ff.

JOG   W heel:  
a  
The   j og   w heel   w ill   a ct   a s   a   f rame   s earch   c ontrol   w hen   t he   t rack   i n   t he   p ause   o r   c ue   m ode.   P ress   t he   P LAY   b utton   t o  
pause   t he   t rack   f or   f rame   s earch.

The   wheel   also   works   as   a   pitch   bend   during   playback.   Turning   the   wheel   clockwise   will   increase   the   pitch  
percentage   u p   t o   1 00%,   a nd   t urning   t he   w heel   c ounterclockwise   w ill   d ecrease   t he   p itch   p ercentage   d own   t o   -­‐ 100%.  
The   p itch   b end   w ill   b e   d etermined   o n   h ow   l ong   y ou   t urn   t he   j og   w heel   c ontinuously.  
c  
The   jog   wheel   can   be   used   with   the   hold   of   the   TIME   and   RATIO   knob   to   set   effects   and   samples   parameter  
adjustment.
