    SECTION 1: FINDING MODEL NUMBER This owner's guide is an important part of your new Yard-Man lawn mower. It will help you to assemble, prepare and maintain your mower. Please read and understand what it says. Before you start assembling the mower for its first use, please locate its model plate and copy the information on to this owner's guide.

Tighten the wing nuts which are already on the handle. See Figure 3A. Note: Make sure to route the cables inside the lower handle.

Compare the illustrations in Figure 7 with your lawn mower to familiarize yourself with the location of various controls and adjustments. Save this manual for future reference.     Bagging Grass Clippings You can use the grasscatcher bag to collect clippings while you are operating the mower. Attach the grasscatcher following instructions on page 9 of this manual. The grass clippings will automatically collect in the bag as you run the mower.

See Figure 11. • Remove the front drive cover from the unit by lightly pressing inward on the sides of the front drive cover. This will release the tabs that secure the front drive cover to the height adjuster brackets.
