  • Page 3 Preparing to Print The direct printing procedure is done entirely with the camera while you look at the LCD monitor. Set the camera's power switch to <OFF>. Set up the printer. For details, see the printer's instruction manual. Connecting the camera to the printer.

The image will appear, and the <#_'> icon wiii appear on the upper left to indicate that the camera is connected to a printer. Movies cannot be printed. The camera cannot be used with printers compatible only with CP Direct or Bubble Jet Direct.

  • Page 10 f'_( Printing Tilt correction You can crop the image and print only the trimmed portion as if the image was recomposed. Do the trimming right before printing. If you set the trimming and then set the print settings, you may have to set the trimming again.
  • Page 11 f'_ Printing Depending on the printer, the trimmed image area might not be printed as you specified. The smaller you make the trimming frame, the grainier the picture will look in the print. While trimming the image, look at the camera's LCD monitor.

  • Page 28 Sync Speed The camera can synchronize with compact, non-Canon flash units at 1/200 sec. or slower shutter speeds. Use a sync speed slower than 1/200 sec. Be sure to test the flash unit beforehand to make sure it synchronizes properly with the camera.
