P_(Printing
4 Set the printing effects.
® Set as necessary. If you need not set
any printing effects, go to step 5.
® Turn the <O> dial to select the item
on the upper right, then press <_>.
® If the <[]> icon is displayed next to
<_>, the printing effects can also
be adjusted. (p.144)
® Next, turn the < 0 > dia! to select the
desired printing effect, then press < :_ >.
item Description
Same as the printing characteristics turned "On". No automatic
DOff
correction will be performed.
Ei:_l 0 n The image will be printed according to the printer's standard colors_
The image's Exif data is used to make automatic corrections.
The image will be printed with higher saturation to produce
E:_lVivid more vivid blues and greens.
_INR The image noise is reduced before printing.
BtW B/W Prints in black-and-white with true blacks.
BiW Coot tone Prints in black-and-white with cool, bluish blacks.
BiW Warm tone Prints in black-and-white with warm, yellowish blacks.
Prints the image in the actual colors and contrast. No automatic
Natural
color adiustments will be applied.
The printingcharacteristics are the same as the ' Natural"setting. However,

this setting enablesfiner printingadjustments thanwith "NaturaL"
The printing will differ depending on the printer. For details, see
E:_lgefault
the printer's instruction manual.
* The screen dispJay may differ depending on the printer.
* When you change the printing effects, it is reflected in the image displayed on
the upper left. Note that the printed image might Jook sJightJy different from the
dispJayed image which is only an approximation.
