Does the light work? A dim flight indicates low voltage or a weak bulb.
Is the electrical power cord plugged hi?
Is a fuse or circuit breaker open? Check by plugging hi another appliance
or lamp at the same wall outlet.
If the lights work and the freezer control is on, but the two fans and
compressor are not operating, the refrigerator is most l_ely in the defrost
cycle. Wait 40 minutes to see ff the refrigerator will restart.
Unplug the refrigerator and take the stepsnecessary to preserve the food
storedinthe refrigeraton Dry icemay be placedin the freezersectionof

Deers shouldbe left closeduntil the refr_rator has been repaired. Your

the food to reach refrigerated freez_g temperature.
o Is the condenser coil area clean? (See page 14.)
® Adjust refrigerator and/or freezer control. (See page 4.)
• Clean the inside of your refrigerator/freezen (See page 12.)
® Is the Deli Fresh Chiller poskioned in the proper place? (See page 6.)
• Slide Deft Fresh Chiller control to a colder setthlg.
• Adjust freezer control to colder setting.
®Is condenser coil area dean? (See page 14.)
e Are any wire shelves covered with foil or plastic, preventing proper air flow?
®Adjust refrigerator control. (See page 4.)
• Adjust freezer control to warmer setting. Allow several hours for
temperature to adjust.
• It may be normal to maintain an even temperature.

®Have doors been opened frequently or for an extended period of time?

® Check door alignment and gasket seal for proper closure.
