Attaching Side Discharge Cover
Followstepsbelowto install t he sidedischargecover:
1. Removemulchingbaffleor grass bag adapterfrom unitby
disconnecting wingnuts.
2. Attachsidedischargecover to unitand securewith the threewing
nuts.See Figure6.
ADJUSTMENTS
Cutting Height
Thereis a cuttingheightadjustmentleverlocatedabovethe rearleft
wheel.
1. Pull the heightadjustmentlevertowardswheel.
2. Moveleverto desiredpositionfor a changeincuttingheight.See
Figure7.
3. Releaselevertowardsdeck.
Drive Control
Theadjustmentwheelis locatedin the drivecontrol handlehousing
and isusedto tightenor loosenthe drivebelt.You will haveto adjust
thedrive controlifany of the followinghappens:
1. The mowerdoes notpropelitselfwith thedrive controlengaged.
2. The mower'sdrivewheelshesitatewith the drivecontrolengaged.
If either of theseconditionsoccur,rotatetheadjustmentwheel
clockwiseto tightenand counter-clockwise to loosencableto adjust
thedrive control.See Figure8.
NOTE:Forsome peoplethe drivecontrolmay not be ina comfortable
position.Youcan adjustthe handlepositionby tighteningthe adjust-
mentwheel.
