Listening To Your iPod

IMPORTANT: To avoid any unwanted distortion when listening to your iPod
through the speaker of this system we recommend that you shut off the
®
equalizer in the iPod before inserting it in the docking station of this system.
To shut off the iPod ® equalizer, go to the "Main Menu" in your iPod ® , scroll to
the "Settings" menu, select the "EQ" setting and turn the EQ ' Off' .

ADAPTER INFORMATION

The docking station in this system follows the Apple "Universal Well" design. This

means that the adapter that was included with the 5G (5 generation) 30GB and
®
60GB iPod with video capability, will fit into the docking well of this system.
This system is supplied with 6 different inserts that can be fitted in the docking
station. One insert serves only as a cover for the docking area to keep the connector
free from dust when no iPod ® will be connected for long periods of time.
®
If you take your iPod on a two-week vacation, place this "Dust cover" in the docking
area until you return and use the system again.
The other 5 inserts are designed for use with any 3 rd generation (3G) or 4 th
®
generation (4G) dockable iPod model, available as of January 2006, including
® ®
the iPod mini and the iPod nano.
1.) If you have not already done so, remove the "Dust cover" from the top cabinet.
